Security and privacy

Built for the rules your company lives by.

What we store, where it lives, what we log and what we never keep. Written in plain words, with Quebec Law 25 in mind.

How does Team Tutor AI protect your data?

Each company gets its own private workspace, and data is stored in North America, outside the application code. Sandbox content is not kept unless an admin turns on content logging, which shows everyone a banner. Policy signatures store the name, time, IP address and version, and the product was designed with Quebec Law 25 in mind.

The short version

We collect what the program needs, we keep it separate per company, and we do not keep what people type into the sandbox unless your admin turns that on and tells everyone.

One private workspace per company

Each company has its own workspace. People, policy signatures, progress and prompts never mix between companies.

Data kept outside the app

Your data lives in a protected folder outside the application code, so updates never touch it. Hosted in North America.

Sign-in done properly

Hashed passwords, magic links that expire, protection against forged requests and limits on repeated attempts.

Personal-data warnings

Before text goes to the AI in the sandbox, we check for emails, phone numbers, card-like and SIN-like numbers and warn the person.

Signatures you can show an auditor

Each signature stores the typed name, time, IP address and policy version. Export to CSV, and to PDF on Enterprise.

Your AI key, your choice

The sandbox uses the AI provider your company chooses, with a monthly budget you control.

What we log and what we do not

We record

  • Name, work email, department, role and manager
  • Lesson progress, quiz scores and certificates
  • Policy signatures with time, IP and version
  • Sandbox usage counts and token totals
  • Use-cases people choose to share

We do not keep

  • What people type in the sandbox (unless an admin turns on content logging, and then everyone sees a banner)
  • Passwords in readable form
  • Payment card numbers (Stripe handles payment)
  • Anything sold or shared for advertising

Quebec Law 25 and Bill 96

Team Tutor AI was built in Montreal with Law 25 in mind. We collect only what the program needs, explain why in plain words, and name a person in charge of the protection of personal information.

Every starter path, prompt and policy template is available in French, and each person can use the product in French. That helps companies meet their obligations under the Charter of the French language.

Your company is still responsible for its own obligations, including privacy impact assessments for new tools. Check with your privacy or legal lead. We are happy to fill in your vendor security questionnaire.

Privacy questions

Is Team Tutor AI compliant with Quebec Law 25?

Team Tutor AI was designed with Law 25 in mind: clear consent, minimal data, records of policy signatures and a privacy contact. Your company is still responsible for its own obligations, so check with your privacy lead.

Do you store what people type in the sandbox?

Not by default. We log usage counts only. An admin can turn on content logging, and when they do, every user sees a clear banner saying so.

Which languages does Team Tutor AI support?

English, French, Spanish and Arabic. The starter paths, prompts and policy templates come in each language, with natural Quebec French for teams in Quebec, and each person can switch language at any time.
